ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Perform diversified duties to troubleshoot and/or maintain core home systems (i.e. HVAC, pool service, lock installation, septic systems, plumbing, electric, radiant heating systems, mechanics, etc.) as well as basic repairs to interior and exterior of home aesthetics (i.e. painting, dry wall repair, basic construction, etc).
    • Moving equipment, appliances, furniture, etc.
    • Hot tub servicing
    • Removing items from home for disposal
    • Maintain lawn, walkways, driveways, etc.
    • Snow and leaf removal
    • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
    • Pick up trash
    • Perform regular preventative maintenance homes
    • Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance and carpentry functions
    • Assist housekeeping when needed
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs to homes and perform scheduled maintenance repairs
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
  • Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance in homes and properties
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
  • Perform general maintenance/arrival audits prior to owner or guest arrivals
  • Perform general maintenance/departure audits upon owner or guest departure
  • Maintain details records of service performed in all units, according to the daily timesheet
  • Communicate the completion and progress of assigned work orders
  • Perform maintenance as assigned by Management, including but not limited to audio/visual, electrical, basic plumbing, mechanics, and/or appliance repair
  • Participate in snow and ice removal around the managed properties and around the office as needed
  • Responsible for tracking and upkeep of assigned tool inventory
  • Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting credit card and purchase account usage
  • Record billable items and hours to be billed to guests and/or owners for work orders
  • Emergency on-call phone - all of team will be tasked with this responsibility

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
REQUIRED
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 + years' experience in hospitality, property management, and/or management
  • 2 + years' experience with electrical, plumbing, mechanics, and appliance repair, including but not limited to HVAC systems, radiant heating systems, and boiler systems
  • Working knowledge of audio/visual, electrical, plumbing, mechanics and appliance repair
  • Proficiency in technology such as cell phones and basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. and be active up to 85% of the work day
  • Ability to shovel snow when required
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, late shifts (until 10PM in winter), and be on-call
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record and 3+ years of driving experience (will be driving a company vehicle)
  • Ability to pass pre-employment testing which may include drug testing and/or background screening

DESIRED
  • Experience with electrical, plumbing, mechanics, audio/visual and appliance repair
  • HVAC Certification
  • Experience in the hospitality industry
