About the Opportunity

Programmed Electrical Technologies is seeking an experienced AV Solutions Architect to join our National Technology Team on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking technology business delivering innovative audiovisual, unified communications and workplace technology solutions to corporate, government, education and defence clients.

With a strong focus on pre-sales, solution design and estimating, you will play a critical role in developing technically sound and commercially competitive solutions that meet our clients' needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced AV professional who enjoys engaging with clients, developing winning solutions and combining technical expertise with commercial acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical pre-sales process by designing, scoping and pricing AV and workplace technology solutions
  • Prepare accurate estimates, quotations, bills of materials (BOMs) and tender submissions
  • Review project specifications, drawings and client requirements to develop compliant and competitive solutions
  • Engage with clients, consultants and key stakeholders to understand project requirements and build strong relationships
  • Manage bid documentation, RFIs, addenda and technical submissions
  • Conduct site visits to support solution development and technical assessments
  • Support project handovers by providing technical documentation and design intent

About You

To join our team, you'll bring experience in audiovisual technologies together with a passion for solution design, pre-sales and delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Additionally, you will possess:

  • Experience in AV solution design, pre-sales, estimating or technology integration
  • Strong understanding of audiovisual, unified communications and workplace technology solutions
  • Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms, Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron or similar technologies is highly regarded
  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills with a customer-first approach
  • A commitment to quality, safety and delivering high-quality outcomes
