Job description

We are seeking an experienced Audio/Video Prewire Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong residential and/or commercial prewire experience, leadership skills, and a commitment to producing high-quality work while mentoring technicians in the field.


Required Experience
* 3โ€“5 years of Audio/Video prewire experience.
* Experience in residential and/or commercial prewiring experience in both is preferred.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans.
* Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
* Valid driverโ€™s license with a clean driving record.


Primary Responsibilities
* Assist the Prewire Team Manager in leading, training, and developing technicians.
* Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards.
* Perform residential and commercial prewire installations as needed.
* Complete and finish prewire projects after crews move on to new installations.
* Inspect techniciansโ€™ work for quality, accuracy, and code compliance.
* Create and maintain accurate as-built drawings and job documentation.
* Record videos of completed prewires for future service and installation reference.
* Install TV, speaker, and subwoofer back boxes.
* Visit upcoming job sites to verify they are ready for prewire installation.
* Participate in customer and builder walkthroughs with Sales and Project Managers to plan system layouts.
* Communicate effectively with builders, project managers, and fellow team members to keep projects on schedule.


Preferred Qualifications
* Experience supervising or leading installation crews.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while supporting a team environment.
* Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
