They review documents to determine their relevance, confidentiality, and whether they are protected by attorney-client privilege. Their work ensures that only appropriate documents are produced or withheld according to legal standards. This role is often critical in complex cases involving electronic discovery (e-discovery), where vast amounts of digital data must be assessed efficiently and accurately.

Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines are standout soft skills for this position. These abilities are crucial for accurately identifying relevant documents, maintaining compliance, and supporting successful legal outcomes in large-scale cases.
