We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization's computer systems and networks from cyber attacks. This includes implementing security measures, monitoring for security breaches, and responding to incidents in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement security measures to protect computer systems and networks
  • Monitor for security breaches and investigate violations
  • Install and use software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information
  • Prepare reports that document security incidents and the extent of the damage caused
  • Conduct security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Specialist or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools (e.g., SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners).
  • Knowledge of network security, system hardening, and secure architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with security frameworks such as CJIS, NIST, and MITRE ATT amp;CK.
  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure) is preferred.
