Recruiter (Construction & Skilled Trades)


Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule: Monday-Friday | In-Office

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 Base + Uncapped Commission


Position Summary

Kodiak Labor Solutions is looking for an experienced Recruiter to join our growing Indianapolis team. If you have a background recruiting for the construction industry or skilled trades, this is an opportunity to build strong relationships, make a direct impact, and earn uncapped commission while supporting some of the nation's largest commercial and industrial construction projects.


Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through onboarding
  • Recruit skilled trades and construction professionals, including electricians, plumbers, pipefitters, welders, HVAC technicians, superintendents, project managers, and safety professionals
  • Source candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, networking, and other recruiting tools
  • Screen, interview, and qualify candidates for client opportunities
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and deliver top talent quickly
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and CRM
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with candidates and clients


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of construction recruiting or skilled trades recruiting experience required.
  • Proven success recruiting for commercial, industrial, or manufacturing positions.
  • Strong sourcing and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple openings in a fast-paced environments
