Summary: Currently looking for Full-time Recreation Assistant

Recreation Assistants in Atlas Healthcare are people-people. They exude confidence and genuinely enjoy interactions with our residents. They take pride in creating an atmosphere of warmth and community for each resident and have a highly competitive personality.

Our Recreation Assistants are responsible for operating our daily indoor and outdoor Recreational services, including, seasonal events, fitness classes, athletic games, art groups, karaoke, trivia night, and more! They aim to provide a fun & exciting experience within all resident interactions, win or lose. While also meeting or exceeding healthcare standards. Atlas Healthcare is leading the nation in healthcare. We believe in unparalleled customer service, excellence in care, and progressive technology. Recreation Assistants:

We are looking for people that want to work at ATLAS HEALTHCARE; that can also meet our standards of guest service, cleanliness, and professionalism. If youโ€™re looking to take it easy, this isnโ€™t the job for you, but if youโ€™re looking to improve your personal/professional skill sets and work for a great company please apply via emailed resume/work history.

All Applicants MUST:

  • Have great guest service and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality

  • Be willing to learn the art of therapeutic recreation in a senior community and be motivated to meet healthcare standards

  • Strong communication and organizational skills with ability to speak in large groups

  • Knowledge and interest in sports and activity rules and regulations

  • Be honest, reliable, responsible individuals with a strong work ethic

  • Be available weekdays and weekends between the hours of 9AM & 5PM โ€“ This includes ALL holidays. If you canโ€™t work holidays, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.

  • Be able to lift 20lbs, push wheelchairs, and be able to stand for up to 8 hours (or more if given/qualified for over-time hours)

  • Be able to stay productive during slower business hours and when working alone

  • Have reliable transportation

  • Must have computer and technology skills โ€“ MS Office, Audio/Video Streaming platforms

  • Be able to follow instructions and comply with ALL company standards
