OverviewPerforms the coordination and preparation of document packages for regulatory submissions for new and mature products to ensure alignment and compliance with local and regional registration requirements as well as with company policies from all areas of company as well as internal audits and inspections. Compiles all materials required in submissions, license renewal and annual registrations. Recommends changes for labeling, manufacturing, marketing and clinical protocol for regulatory compliance. Monitors and improves tracking / control systems. Keeps abreast of regulatory procedures and changes. May direct interaction with regulatory agencies on defined matters. Recommends strategies for earliest possible approvals of clinical trials applications.ResponsibilitiesThe role will own and lead regulatory strategy for complex telecom policy, standards, fraud prevention, and compliance matters. This role will advise executive leadership, represent the company before regulators and industry bodies, and lead cross-functional initiatives that shape business strategy and market outcomes. The position requires independent judgment, strategic influence, and the ability to develop highly creative solutions to unusually complex regulatory, technical, and policy challenges where precedent may be limited.

FCC Advocacy: Monitor legislation and regulation that may potentially impact the company and share with business unit and leadership teams to formulate strategy. Draft public comments, petitions, and technical briefs for FCC rulemaking proceedings working with Outside Counsel. Lobby regulatory staff to protect company market interests.
Global Regulatory Modeling: Research and design best-practice telecommunications frameworks, combatting fraud best practices and serving as a strategic advisor to foreign government telecom authorities.
Complex Problem Solving and Strategic Judgment: Lead resolution of highly complex and ambiguous regulatory, technical, and policy issues by developing creative solutions, exercising independent judgment, and aligning recommendations with company objectives, market interests, and compliance obligations
