Job description

Red Bank Regional High School is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to the Athletic Director to support the daily operations of a dynamic and student-centered athletic department. This is a 10 month position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Athletic Director and athletic department.
  • Coordinate athletic schedules, calendars, events, transportation, facilities, and communications.
  • Assist coaches, students, families, and staff with athletic-related questions and needs.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, schedules, and other departmental materials.
  • Assist with athletic registrations, purchasing, invoices, and event preparation.
  • Communicate professionally with students, families, coaches, staff, officials, and outside organizations.
  • Support the successful operation of athletic events and programs throughout the school year.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; additional coursework or degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Prior experience in a school, athletic, or administrative setting preferred.
