Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a IT Service Desk Administrator in Dayton, OH.
IT Service Desk Administrator with a Secret clearance to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio.
Secret clearance to provide support to a Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio. The individual will provide specialized Information Technology (IT) and network administration in support of advanced IT infrastructure development. Their primary focus will be to provide Windows Desktop and Active Directory support on NIPR and SIPR environments. This position is an in-person position and will be co-located with the Government Office at WPAFB, Ohio.
Responsibilities
• Front line position to accept customer incoming support calls and gather information using exploratory questions.
• Manage support tickets using support ticket management system.
• Provide frequent statuses to customers while support tickets are prioritized and completed.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout IT support process.
• Maintain professional behavior, with a customer service oriented mindset.
• Utilize knowledge of O365, Office 20xx, Windows Desktop Operating Systems, and computer hardware setup and troubleshooting experience.
• Light scripting and programming tasks and/or systems administration duties as assigned and as opportunities are presented.
• Clearly communicate and collaborate within and outside your immediate team.
• Support various networks, including NIPRNet and SIPRNet.
• Maintain inventory lists for IT equipment, in accordance with government regulations.
Qualifications
• Must have Security+
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• 2+ years of experience required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable working 100% in-person at a government customer's site, in unclassified and classified environments
• Must possess a can-do attitude and a desire to learn
• Must have strong communication skills - both written and verbal
• Must possess an ability to learn quickly and work under pressure in a fast-paced yet rewarding environment
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
• Desired to have an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Desired to have 12 months or more of experience in a SAP environment within the last 5 years.
