### **GI Hospitalist opening in Corpus Christi, TX**Full-time; PermanentEmployedSeeking BC/BE### **Overview:** - A 200-bed facility located in Corpus Christi, Texas, serving as a cornerstone of healthcare on the south side of the city. - The hospital recently underwent significant expansion, including a newly expanded Emergency Department and a doubled Intensive Care Unit to better serve the growing needs of the community. - The facility also includes a Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD) — a dedicated surgical hospital and acute care center with 170 total beds and a 36-bed surgical center. - Gastroenterology services are well-supported at the facility, with four dedicated endoscopy suites on site, two additional suites at the inpatient center, and all outfitted with brand-new Olympus equipment, including two newly constructed state-of-the-art endoscopy suites. - The Health System is building a pod of four gastroenterologists based at the facility. - This team will work closely with our flagship tertiary referral center for seamless management of higher-acuity cases. - Not-for-profit health care system serving the needs of its communities for more than 117 years - EMR System: Epic### **About the Area:**Corpus Christi, TX, with a population of around 320,000 residents, is a vibrant coastal city located on the Gulf of Mexico.
