Chief Retail Officer

Women At Risk, International (WAR) partners with women rescued from trafficking and exploitation, providing dignified work through the creation of beautiful jewelry, accessories, and home décor. We are seeking a Chief Retail Officer to champion these artisans by expanding sales channels—particularly digital platforms—so that more customers can shop with purpose and join WAR’s mission of hope and healing. The CRO will oversee our boutique, events, wholesale, and online presence, ensuring customers are inspired not only by the products but also by the stories of freedom behind them. This leader will combine business expertise with creativity and a heart for ministry, growing revenue that directly impacts lives around the world.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow retail sales through digital platforms, boutique, events, and wholesale
  • Build marketing and sales strategies that connect customers to the mission
  • Lead and inspire retail staff and volunteers with clarity and vision
  • Strengthen systems and operations to scale impact
  • Collaborate with the President to represent WAR and tell the story of survivors


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in retail management, with proven success in sales growth
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, e-commerce, and online sales expansion
  • Background in fashion, merchandising, or consumer products preferred
  • Strong track record in managing budgets, inventory, and retail operations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred)
