We are currently searching for an AP Clerk at Hospitality Management Corporation in Wichita, KS.

Job Description:

  • Matching, batching, coding and entering invoices

  • Entering, posting and reconciling batches

  • Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors

  • Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger

  • Maintaining cash applications, account reconciliations

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

  • Maintaining historical records

  • Scheduling vendor payments and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance

  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

  • Continuing to improve the payment process

  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

  • Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.
