Location: Zeeland, MI
Shift: 5:00 AM–3:00 PM (Monday–Friday) with Overtime
Pay: Starting at $16.50+/hour

Job Summary
Are you an experienced sewer who takes pride in precision workmanship and producing high-quality products? We're looking for a Sewer III to join our team in Zeeland, MI. In this role, you'll work with industrial sewing equipment and specialized materials to fabricate durable textile assemblies while supporting quality, safety, and production goals.
What You'll Be Doing

As a Sewer III, your core responsibilities will include:
  • Industrial Sewing & Fabrication: Fabricate complex dunnage systems and textile assemblies using a variety of industrial sewing machines and materials.
  • Quality Control: Perform inspections to ensure seam strength, stitch quality, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications.
  • Machine Operation & Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance, make minor machine adjustments, and troubleshoot sewing or material issues to minimize downtime.
In addition, you will assist with prototypes and first-article samples, provide guidance and support to Sewer I and II team members, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and support lean manufacturing and safety initiatives.

What We're Looking For
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • One to three years of related sewing or manufacturing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders, technical drawings, and safety procedures in English.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Industrial Sewing Expertise: Experience operating industrial sewing machines, including lockstitch, walking foot, and pattern sewing equipment.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain dimensional accuracy and produce high-quality finished products.
