Pediatric RN - Home Health Care
Location
Portland, Maine
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, including every other weekend rotation or permanent Tuesday-Saturday/Sunday-Thursday schedules, based on agency needs.
Job Description
This Pediatric RN position involves providing comprehensive home health care for pediatric patients. You will manage a case load of 20-25 patients with an expectation of 5-6 visits per day. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess and manage pediatric patient care.
  • Perform IV therapy, tube feeding, VAC dressings, and other nursing procedures as required.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and patient management.
  • Participate in case management activities, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Respond to call duties as required during designated hours.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • At least 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in home health care.
  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Experience with OASIS documentation and proficiency in Epic EMR.
  • Skills in IV therapy, tube feeds, wound care, and more.
