What You'll Do as a PRN On-Call RN
As a Registered Nurse, you play a vital role in assessing patient needs and delivering timely, skilled care during on-call hours. Responsibilities include:
  • Conducting patient visits to assess nursing needs
  • Completing initial evaluation visits and developing individualized plans of care
  • Performing ongoing comprehensive assessments and revising care plans as needed

  • Initiating preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures as ordered
  • Preparing clinical and progress notes and coordinating services

Qualifications

  • Home health, critical care, or emergency room experience preferred
