Position: Paralegal, Expungement
Location: Indianapolis, IN 46204
Client: State of Indiana
Duration: 12+ Months

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Paralegal to support the legal team by assisting with various legal tasks, including litigation support, document preparation, and legal research. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in paralegal studies and relevant experience in a legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Department litigation and legal research.
  • Prepare legal documents, affidavits, and responses to discovery requests.
  • Act as a liaison with the Attorney General’s Office.
  • Process and handle expungement orders and public records requests.
  • Maintain legal documentation and ensure proper indexing and filing.

Required Skills:

  • Paralegal certification with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (LexisNexis, Westlaw).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
