JOB TITLE:
UW Alumni Association Homecoming Intern
JOB PURPOSE:
Reporting to the Director of Alumni Engagement, the Alumni Association is looking for a reliable, hands-on intern to assist with the day-to-day tasks involved in preparing for and executing Homecoming events.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assemble and organize event materials
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces (tables, chairs, decorations, registration areas)
  • Run errands on campus and in the local area (picking up supplies, delivering items, etc.)
  • Pack, label, and transport event supplies to and from venues as needed
  • Provide general administrative support (printing, copying, stuffing envelopes, etc.)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Current student in good standing at the University of Wyoming
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Dependable and punctual, with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable working on your feet and lifting up to 25 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed

WORK LOCATION:
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
