Job Title: Engineer I - Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician
Location: 100% Remote
Duration: 04 Months
Shift Timing: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM EST (But the exact shift will be TBD)
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.50/- on W2

Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled NOC Technician to support the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure across retail locations. This role involves real-time collaboration with the Remote Operations Center (ROC) team and on-site technicians to apply network changes, conduct upgrades, and ensure seamless technology rollouts.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:

• Apply and validate network configurations (routers, switches) during store deployments.
• Execute on-the-spot changes to network settings in coordination with ROC and field technicians.
• Administer the technology deployment plan to support the rollout of new solutions, enhancements, or upgrades.
• Perform hardware upgrades and replacements for network equipment as needed.
• Monitor store network performance and respond to incidents in real-time.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
Qualifications:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2+ years of experience in a NOC, network support, or deployment role.
• Prior experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar technical support environment.
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with network monitoring and ticketing tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with remote and on-site teams.
Preferred Skills:
• Hands-on experience with Mist by Juniper for switch and wireless network management.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
