About the Role

We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our growing Professional Services Team with motivation and a desire to learn and to play a key role in helping onboard new clients. The Technical Project Manager is the main point of contact for the client in the pre-launch period and will lead the overall project implementation while ensuring scope, quality, timeline, and project metrics are met. This role serves as a solution consultant, collaborating closely between the development team, product team, and client during the project implementation period, all to ensure that the client will be able to extract the greatest value from the product post-launch and ensure commitments are delivered on time.

You will gain experience working with a variety of partners such as HiredScore’s executive team, development, product, and professional services teams, client success teams, and our client’s senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Partner and collaborate with teams such as Product, R&D, Data Science, and Customer Success to develop delivery plans that balance scope, time, and quality as well as validate, launch, support, and supervise new features

  • Build and lead day-to-day project plans; supervise and review progress and timelines and adjust as needed; Identify, track, and resolve issues to ensure meeting commitments and project success

  • Track and communicate project status, risks, issues, decisions, and actions to internal and external collaborators

  • Demonstrate strong project leadership skills and analytical competence to overcome challenges and drive project success

  • Understand client needs and challenges, offering valuable and viable solutions to meet their requirements

  • Configure product in client environment as per Statement of Work and project implementation plan

  • Maintain relationships and communication with the client and all team members to guarantee satisfaction with the project's delivery

  • Communicate to the client any maintenance needs of the new implementation for a defined period post-launch.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of key tasks, achievements, and client interactions for comprehensive project monitoring and review

  • Work with client Success teams and Support to transition the account from the implementation phase to the launch, training, and adoption phase, ensuring a smooth handover

  • Seek opportunities for further business and product development, or potential risks that could impede or slow progress of implementation, advise key stakeholders when needed

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years demonstrated ability in a Technical or Project Implementation Management

  • 4+ years demonstrated ability with external client-facing of global enterprise

  • 4+ years demonstrated ability implementing SaaS / have worked in a Software Delivery environment of large scale projects

Other Qualifications

  • Industry knowledge of HR Tech, specifically recruiting or ATS a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to handle day-to-day work challenges expertly; adjust to shifting priorities, Identify and tackle technical and operational issues during implementation

  • Experience with configuration tools and able to fulfill technical tasks

  • Strong analytical skills, detailed understanding and capability to interpreting client business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements

  • Ability to professionally engage with executives, managers, users, and domain experts

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced process-focused environment, adept at problem-solving under pressure

  • Fluency in spoken and written English - Verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Teammate with self-management skills, adept at driving projects from scratch, and collaborating with cross-company collaborators

  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software delivery lifecycle

  • Experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday, and Documentation repository

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
