  • Responsibilities. Responsible for driving reliability and resiliency across the enterprise as a part of our high-performance team within Global Product & Technology (GPT) group, while operationalizing and building automated software solutions and tools. Design, develop, and automate software solutions for ADP's product suites leveraging experience with DevOps and reliability, including Cloud, CI/CD toolchain and systems. Utilize business processes, functions, and data to provide innovative, insightful, and secure software solutions. Participate in API design and implementation (remote vs local APIs, routing and reverse proxying, load balancing, and optimization techniques). Utilize complex technologies, including Cloud (AWS, EKS RDS), Containerization (K8S), Orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Helm Charts), Clustering, CI/CD tools, and Unix. Perform tuning, command line utilities, virtualization approaches, domain driven design concepts and microservices.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
  • Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, related Engineering disciplines, or related field of study plus seven (7) years of related experience required.

  • Work Experience. Five (5) years of experience must include: Public Cloud infrastructure (EKS and RDS); Containerization (K8s); Orchestration (Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins); Clustering; CI/CD; API design and implementation; Unix or Windows OS configuration; Unix OS, tuning, command line utilities, virtualization approaches; Site Reliability Engineering including observability, chaos engineering, and continuous reliability; Domain Driven Design concepts, microservices; Load and Performance Engineering; Systems capacity analysis and engineering; and Disaster Recovery Engineering.
