Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for an Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems Engineer at its Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a drive to lead from where you are, collaborative people skills, and the proven ability to work within a technically diverse and fast-paced team. This position is in Warner Robins, GA and requires that you work on-site daily.

Roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Perform hands-on testing of an EW system Operational Flight Program (OFP) in development environments and system integration labs.

  • Support planning working groups and participate in live test events.

  • Generate and update system and sub-system level specifications, ensure verification traceability, develop test plans, perform analysis of test results and prepare comprehensive reports.

This position may be filled at either Associate Systems Engineer or Systems Engineer level.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Associate Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited school

  • Systems Engineer: Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited school with 2 years of relevant experience; Master's with 0 Years

  • Electronic Warfare system experience

  • Software testing experience

  • Basic understanding of RF principles and radar waveforms

  • Experience with deriving system requirements and developing test plans and procedures

  • Starting this role is contingent upon obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret level security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience running RF lab test equipment, including signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and EW specific analysis tools

  • Software experience in Ada, C-type languages

  • Knowledgeable in Agile software development methodology

  • Experience leading test efforts and organizing test teams

  • Experience in performing aircraft functional test

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,800.00 - $98,800.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
