As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on the Salesforce platform (SFDC), the world's leading Customer Relationship Management system.
This role goes beyond development to include solution architecture, technical leadership, and strategic alignment with business objectives. You will partner closely with Commercial Sales, Product Owners, Enterprise Architecture, and cross-functional technology teams to design future-state capabilities across Desktop and Mobile platforms.
This position offers a dynamic opportunity to lead complex initiatives, influence platform strategy, and mentor engineering talent while driving innovation within a cloud-first ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
  • Support the end-to-end design and architecture of Salesforce-based solutions aligned to enterprise standards and long-term platform strategy.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and integration frameworks.
  • Define and enforce design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Technical Leadership
  • Serve as a technical expert and subject matter expert for Salesforce (Apex, Lightning, integrations, and platform capabilities).
  • Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering engineering excellence and continuous learning.
  • Provide oversight and governance for development activities, including code reviews, CI/CD practices, and release management.

Enterprise Integration & Data Strategy
  • Design and implement complex integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (e.g., middleware, MDM, data platforms).
  • Ensure robust data architecture, including data quality, governance, and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to define API strategies and event-driven architecture.

Delivery & Execution
  • Lead the development and implementation of complex features, enhancements, and large-scale initiatives.
  • Allocate time across design, development, troubleshooting, and production support, with a strong emphasis on high-impact engineering work.
  • Drive automation, DevOps, and continuous delivery improvements within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Stakeholder Engagement
  • Partner with business leaders and product stakeholders to shape roadmaps and prioritize initiatives.
  • Communicate technical solutions and trade-offs effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Business teams on technology capabilities and innovation opportunities.

Quality, Security & Compliance
  • Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards, including MFA, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain testing strategies, quality assurance practices, and performance benchmarks.
  • Conduct solution reviews to ensure scalability, resiliency, and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 - 5 + years of experience in enterprise application development, with deep expertise in Salesforce platform engineering preferred.
  • Proven experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, and large-scale system implementations.
  • Strong experience in Salesforce technologies: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, APIs, and platform configuration.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations (e.g., REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms such as Informatica, MuleSoft, TIBCO).
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, system integration patterns, and cloud architecture principles.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with content management systems (e.g., Kentico or similar platforms)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability tools
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
  • Experience supporting high-traffic or customer-facing websites
