Sign-On Bonus and Relocation Available
This position is eligible for a $4,000 sign-on bonus; 50% paid after 30 days and 50% paid after 6 months of employment. In addition, candidates relocating from more than 50 miles from Louisville, CO facility are eligible for a $5,000 relocation bonus to help cover moving expenses. Employees must remain employed for 12 months to retain the relocation bonus.
About the Role
As a Structural Welder, you will perform high-quality FCAW and GMAW welding on structural carbon steel while ensuring compliance with AWS D1.1 standards, company procedures, and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do (Essential Functions):
  • Perform high-quality FCAW and GMAW welding on structural carbon steel in 1F, 3F, and 4F positions.
  • Read, align, position, and assemble structural components to specification.
  • Inspect completed welds and workpieces for quality, defects, and dimensional accuracy.
  • Operate welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes safely.
  • Maintain strict adherence to company procedures, safety standards, and work instructions.
  • Demonstrate advanced welding knowledge and mentor/train Structural Welder I team members.
  • Serve as a liaison with customers and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism.
  • Effectively manage time, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain excellent personal conduct.
  • Successfully pass a welding test and meet AWS D1.1 certification requirements; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
What You Bring (Skills, Abilities, Experience):
  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
  • Graduation from a welding program is highly desirable.
  • Must have experience with FCAW and GMAW
  • A minimum of one to two years of welding is required.
  • Advanced level ability to read prints and tape measurements
  • A good motor vehicle record is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including overtime.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.
Work Environment
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions-such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures-for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
