Job Summary:
PassFort, a Moody's Company, is a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment. They are seeking a Software Engineer to implement changes, enhancements, and bug fixes for their risk management software solutions while collaborating with teams to improve product functionalities.
Responsibilities:
• Implement change requests, enhancements, and bug fixes for Moody’s Risk management software solutions and products.
• Maintain and enhance data model, data dictionaries and data lake transformations.
• Participate in backend and frontend architecture, design and development of Next Generation SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, engineers, and client support teams to address identified issues and improve product functionalities.
• Integrate products with cloud platform services and assist in cloud transformations and migrations.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert on technologies such as C#, .NET Framework, SQL Server, ASP.NET, Python, HTML, AngularJS, Typescript, jQuery, and JavaScript.
• Assist in deployment and troubleshooting of product installations on client premises, hosted data centers, or cloud platforms.
• Continuously learn new technologies including GEN AI, Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud used in Moody’s platforms to enhance existing products and develop new SaaS solutions.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of progressively responsible experience as a Senior Software Engineer or related performing software development and designing technical solutions.
• Alternatively, employer will accept two (2) additional years of related work experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• Any suitable combination of education, training or experience is acceptable.
• Must have experience with the following: providing technical support, including troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving defects in production, and QA environments;
• designing, building, and configuring applications;
• working with C#, Python and Relational Databases including MS SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL;
• using JQuery, JavaScript and HTML/CSS/XML;
• .Net Framework, ASP.Net, working with Source Control including Team Foundation Server, Git, and Bitbucket;
• using Visual Studio IDE and Angular, AngularJS and Web Services development;
• Micro services Architecture design and development, Database optimization and performance improvement.
