Job Duties: Analyze the end-to-end client and investment management lifecycle-including client contracting and onboarding, portfolio management, trading, compliance, trade settlement, operational workflows, and reporting platforms-to design scalable and effective technology solutions. Evaluate and incorporate domain-specific processes such as SecLending workflows, derivatives processing, and collateral management operations to mitigate the counterparty exposure and to ensure system accuracy, resiliency, and alignment with business requirements. Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, implementation, and production support. Develop comprehensive technical design documents detailing the proposed solution architecture, business logic, and upstream/downstream system dependencies. Leverage and continuously learn in house technologies and frameworks to build, scale, and optimize enterprise-grade applications across the investment and post trade ecosystem.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and three (3) years of experience as a Software Developer or in a closely related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: Strong proficiency Object-oriented programming in Java, multithreading, concurrency , Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Data JPA), spring security and OAuth2; Hands on experience in databases such as MySQL, Oracle, JDBC, and Hibernate for data persistence; Designing, developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices within distributed backend architecture; Unit testing frameworks including JUnit and Mockito; Working with UNIX and Linux environments; and Agile methodologies (Scrum), with experience working in Agile teams and contributing to continuous delivery processes. Experience with even-driven architectures, messaging system or integration tools such as Kafka, MQ, or Cloud native steaming platforms; hands on experience with CI/CD pipelines, build tools (Maven/Gradle) and version control system like Git; understanding of microservice design patterns, service discovery, load balancing and distributed tracing; exposure to cloud computing platforms(Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration(Kubernetes); understanding of microservice design patterns, service discovery, load balancing, API gateways, and distributed tracing; Knowledge of performance tuning and debugging techniques for distributed, high throughput systems; Experience developing scalable, fault tolerant, and enterprise grade backend services; Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK stack) Must have two (2) years of experience with: UI technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular and React for developing user interfaces in web applications.

Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
