Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist III to join our client's IT Infrastructure team in Conyers, Georgia. This is a fully onsite role supporting enterprise desktop environments, cloud infrastructure, business applications, and critical IT systems. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience with Microsoft technologies, ServiceNow, networking, and cloud automation tools such as AWS CLI and Terraform.

Local candidates in the Metro Atlanta area are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 desktop and infrastructure support for Windows-based environments.

  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, laptops, printers, scanners, and application software.

  • Monitor and manage ServiceNow ticket queues while ensuring timely issue resolution and excellent customer support.

  • Troubleshoot TCP/IP connectivity, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other network-related issues.

  • Support Microsoft Active Directory administration, including user accounts and security policies.

  • Assist with maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments and support cloud-based applications.

  • Utilize AWS CLI and Terraform to support infrastructure automation and provisioning activities.

  • Support business-critical systems, video conferencing solutions, A/V equipment, lobby management software, and other enterprise applications.

  • Participate in production incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.

  • Recommend hardware and software solutions to improve operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with infrastructure teams to maintain system availability and minimize downtime.

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend process improvements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field OR

  • Associate/Vocational degree with equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience in an enterprise environment.

  • Professional certification is required (CompTIA A+, Network+, Cloud+, or equivalent). Certification must be submitted with the application.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with:

    • Microsoft Active Directory

    • Group Policy

    • DNS and DHCP

    • ServiceNow

    • Desktop hardware/software installation and troubleshooting

    • TCP/IP networking

    • AWS CLI and Terraform

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with basic network troubleshooting.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.

  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and automation.

  • Experience supporting video conferencing, A/V systems, Chrome devices, and mobile technologies.
