POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Worker performs a variety of production and general labor tasks to support daily manufacturing operations within our cheese production facility. This role is essential to maintaining product quality, supporting efficient production flow, and ensuring finished goods meet company standards.

Production Workers play an important role in helping deliver high-quality cheese and dairy products to customers nationwide while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Count, label, and organize products and production materials accurately.
  • Inspect products for quality and remove, report, or replace damaged items as needed.
  • Sort, package, and prepare finished goods according to company and food safety standards.
  • Move materials, supplies, and products throughout the production and warehouse areas.
  • Perform general labor duties including loading, unloading, lifting, stacking, and moving materials.
  • Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization within production areas.
  • Follow GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and workplace safety policies.
  • Support production line operations to ensure efficiency and product quality.
  • Work collaboratively with team members and production leadership to meet daily production goals.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or production leadership

Requirements

  1. Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
  2. Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
  3. Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
