Associate Security Consultant

The Senior Security Consultant should have a strong understanding of the emerging security practices and standards. Should be able to consult, engineer and apply security best practices while designing and proposing solutions to our enterprise customers. Should have good communication skills and experience in coordinating with customer POCs to understand / define scope and coordinate with offshore team(s). The Senior Security Consultant role assures the smooth delivery of the IAM solutions. This role is responsible for assuring that tickets are addressed in a timely manner and that incoming requests are appropriate routed to the technical support team and SMEs.

Design and deliver IAM solutions using Ping. As a Senior Security Consultant, you will:

  • Interact with senior stakeholders across departments.
  • Design and deliver solutions and produce patterns and support quality assurance.
  • Be the point of escalation for architects.
  • Integrate Single Sign On (SSO) with identified applications and provide operational support.
  • Responsible for tracking service metrics to assure SLAs are met.
  • Responsible for oversight of incoming tickets and work requests, assuring they are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Escalates critical issues in a timely manner.
  • Reports to executive team and customer the status on outstanding requests.
  • Works with the technical team to schedule service updates and patches as needed.
  • Assures that technical documentation for the service is maintained in the appropriate document repository.
  • Assists the technical team in defining end user documentation, assuring customer facing documents are of acceptable, professional quality.

Understand complex business and information technology management processes Execute advanced services and supervise staff in delivering basic services. Communicate to clients and partners aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and functional level appropriate for the situation. Manage project scope, schedule, status and documentation Identify opportunities to improve engagement profitability.

Experience: Minimum 7 to 9+ years of working experience in IAM implementation and consulting. Strong understanding of Authenticating technologies such as SAML, OAuth/OIDC, WS FED authentication and other authentication methods. Strong working knowledge of PingFederate Policy Server, and policy enforcement products/Concepts. Good understanding of access management, federated identity, 2 factor solutions, and LDAP Directories. 3+ years of experience in developing, implementing or architecting Ping systems. 3+ years of experience with Ping technical architecture experience integrating identity management, access management and access governance software into clients' infrastructure and applications. Experience to analyze a clients¿ security posture, anticipate security requirements and help find right sized solutions based on industry leading practices. Minimum of 2 years of experience with configuration and implementation of packaged or custom IAM solutions including: Design and develop a single sign on solution. Request based application and resource provisioning Configuring self service use cases in various Ping platforms Knowledge of relational Database and SQL Demonstrated creativity in complex problem solving and ability to work under pressure Experience with installation, integration and deploying Ping. Ability to take business problems, existing processes and technology and translate these into service and process requirements Effective communicator with great interpersonal skills and the ability to be credible with clients Demonstrate deployment capabilities of Ping tools across different environments. Support Application onboarding and migration activities. Configure Ping Identity Federation and other component based requirements Demonstrate advanced understanding
