ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM), with every other weekend and holiday requirement.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the optimal delivery of emergency care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency nursing care to patients across all age groups.
  • Perform assessments and develop nursing care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during emergency procedures.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in an emergency department setting.
  • Current Pennsylvania or Compact RN license in hand.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.
