About the Role:
At Zurich, we're committed to supporting our customers and employees with integrity, expertise, and care. As an Accounting Associate, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team. This is an opportunity to make an impact by supporting critical business operations and driving financial excellence.
This role requires in-office presence of 3x a week out of our Overland Park, Kansas office.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage F&I VSC (Vehicle Service Contract) business processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting
  • Perform reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial records and resolve discrepancies
  • Process invoice payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Partner with internal teams and external agencies to recover outstanding funds
  • Process live checks and complete scanning to ensure timely and accurate deposits
  • Prepare and post accounting entries, including debit/credit journal entries
  • Support day-to-day accounting operations while adhering to established financial controls and policies
  • Provide administrative support to local team and participate in projects, as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role
    OR
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role
    AND
  • Knowledge of insurance agreements and loss-sensitive programs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong communication skills and sound decision-making ability

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location.
The proposed Salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
