Job Title:Corporate Insurance Analyst
Reports to:Sr. Manager, Corporate Insurance
Location: California Hybrid (Remote + Occasional On-Site)

The Role

Deckers' Risk Management team protects our people, brand, and global operations through innovative insurance strategies and claims management. We're looking for a detail-oriented and analyticalCorporate Insurance Analystto support our insurance programs, claims oversight, and risk data reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced global business environment, has strong technical skills, and is eager to grow their career in corporate risk management.

What You'll Do
  • Support the administration of global insurance programs across various coverages including property, casualty, workers' compensation, liability, cargo, EPL, and cyber
  • Coordinate with brokers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to manage underwriting data, renewal submissions, and compliance reviews for COIs and contracts
  • Assist with claims intake, reporting, and coordination with adjusters and carriers, while tracking status, payments, and reserves
  • Maintain and analyze risk-related data including schedules of values (SOVs), COPE data, and insurance spend to develop reports and dashboards
  • Contribute to budgeting and actuarial analysis for insurance renewals and accruals
  • Conduct research on market trends, emerging risks, and regulatory developments to support risk management initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in special projects such as loss prevention, contract reviews, and compliance audits
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts within the Risk Management team

What You Bring

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Accounting, Risk Management, Insurance, Math, or Economics/Business
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or Associate in Claims (AIC) a plus

Experience

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in insurance, claims, risk management, or a related discipline (insurance carrier or broker)
  • Experience supporting insurance renewals, underwriting submissions, and managing Certificates of Insurance
  • Experience in a global footwear or apparel company is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Proficient in Oracle and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
