Coastline Equipment is a leading John Deere Construction and Forestry dealer with locations in Southern California, Nevada and Idaho. At their 13 locations, Coastline delivers best-in-class equipment, parts, service and technology solutions for customers. Our team of experts is driven to meet the needs of our customers both where they are today and where they are going tomorrow.
The team at Coastline is looking to hire a Receptionist at their Meridian, ID branch and look to find an enthusiastic candidate to round out the team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Visitor and Call Management: Receive visitors and telephone calls, directing them to the appropriate parties.
  • Financial Transactions: Prepare bank deposits, balance cash receipts, and record accounts payable and receivable entries.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain accounts payable or receivable records.
  • Purchase Order Review: Review purchase orders for accuracy and submit supporting paperwork to the Accounting Department.
  • Mail and File Management: Distribute mail and maintain dealership files.
  • Document Preparation: Draft and type standard letters and memoranda, and prepare documents for distribution.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the sales, parts, and service departments.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role, ideally within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with scheduling software and office management tools.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, along with a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Behavioral Traits: Demonstrated professionalism, a team-oriented mindset, and alignment with Coastline Equipment's values of safety, innovation, and reliability.
