What You will Do:
  • Primarily gather, compile, process, and portray Quality Engineering (technical) data that helps ensure part and process quality are achieved and sustained. Efforts support/conveyed to others. Work can be connected to either Part Qualification Requirements assurance and/or Non-Conforming Material evaluations.
  • Interact w/ multiple computer systems / software
  • Spot discrepancies in information or processing of information and take appropriate actions
  • Collaboratively engage daily with your Project / Team leader, Peers, Customer
  • Help Quest Global grow while you learn and develop your career
  • Initial work is anticipated to be on our customer's manufacturing floor - interacting with MEs and QEs.

What You Will Bring:
  • AS-Technical Degree
  • Minimum 5+ years relevant to role experience
  • Alternate: 12+ years relevant to role with no / non-tech degree
  • Understanding of metals manufacturing processes & equipment
  • Experience with Aero-Engine OEMs (highly noteworthy)
  • Other Technical Certifications (noteworthy)

Required Skills (Technical Competency) / Attributes:
  • Conversant in the activities associated with: Quality Management System, Part Qualification (QA), Non-Conformance Management, and/or Continuous Improvement (Development).
  • Conversant regarding: Metals manufacturing equipment, processes and production cell environments
  • Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook - advanced user (use of macros, pivot tables, VB Coding - noteworthy)
  • Entering, probing, and extracting technical data within a MRP / ERP system (SAP; Solumina preferred)
  • Prior demonstrated ability to focus on semi-recurring tasks
  • Familiarity with gas turbine engine workings, design, manufacturing, MRO
  • Read Engineering prints/ Floor routings and comprehend associated Quality Requirements
  • Gage/Inspection experience involving manual, visual, CMM, other computer-based equipment. SPC charting.
  • Operating in procedure based and regulatory controlled environments - including shop floor

Pay Range: $24.00/hr to $32.70/hr USD
Shifts Available: 1st shift (8 AM-5PM) Full-Time hourly role
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and other incentives.
Work Requirements:
This role is considered an on-site position located in Middletown, Connecticut.
  • You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
  • Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Travel requirements: Due to the nature of the work, minimal additional travel is required.
Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.
