Key Responsibilities

Quality Data, Analysis & Reporting

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and operational data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as PPM, defect rates, returns, SCARs, corrective actions, and process performance
  • Develop dashboards and visual tools to support management decision-making

Continuous Improvement & Process Optimization

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities related to product quality, inspection methods, warehouse processes, and supplier performance
  • Support and participate in Lean, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving initiatives
  • Facilitate root cause analysis using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, and A3
  • Partner with Operations and Warehouse teams to reduce waste, variation, and rework
  • Measure and validate the effectiveness of improvement actions using data and KPIs
  • Recommend process, tooling, or system improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues

Supplier & Product Quality Support

  • Analyze supplier quality performance and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support supplier corrective action requests (SCARs) and verify long-term effectiveness
  • Assist with incoming inspection strategies and risk-based inspection approaches

Corrective & Preventive Actions

  • Drive corrective and preventive action processes from problem identification through closure
  • Track action items, due dates, and effectiveness checks
  • Ensure corrective actions are aligned with prevention and continuous improvement principles

Customer & Internal Quality Support

  • Support customer quality issue investigations and data-driven resolution
  • Analyze customer returns and complaints to identify systemic improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve customer satisfaction and quality consistency

Documentation, Systems & Compliance

  • Maintain quality documentation, records, and improvement logs
  • Support internal audits and quality system compliance (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Assist in updating procedures, work instructions, and standard work resulting from improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality, continuous improvement, or operational excellence roles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic data visualization/reporting tools
