Create/design/analyze QA test procedures.Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools.Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs. Learn both client business processes, technology systems, and all related documentation etc. including requirements analysis for delivery projectApply functional and technical system design to test planning, test case writing, and defect managementAbility to explain technical behaviors seen throughout the solution as related to defects to both technical and non-technical audience. Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environmentStrong presentation and communication skills. Job Description:
A junior quality assurance analyst creates tests to find any problems with software before the product is launched. They identify and analyze any bugs found during testing and document them. They also must to pay very close attention to detail and coach their team on managing testing tools, reporting results, and motivating process improvement.A normal work day for a junior quality assurance analyst includes new tests to run, running the tests, and documenting the results; if any defects are noted the quality assurance analysts will need to collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.
Preferred education: Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.
