Job Description:

The Segment Quality team is seeking a motivated and analytical early-career professional to support strategic quality initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate who is interested in applying data analysis, digital tools, and continuous improvement methods to enhance quality performance and business processes.

The individual in this role will work with quality data, reporting tools such as Power BI, quality methodologies, and emerging AI-enabled capabilities to help improve visibility, drive insights, and support the ongoing development of the Segment policy library. This position offers an opportunity to gain broad exposure to quality systems, cross-functional collaboration, and enterprise-level process improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI and other digital tools to support decision-making
  • Assist in identifying trends, risks, and improvement opportunities through data analysis
  • Explore and apply AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency in document management, knowledge sharing, data analysis, and policy/process support
  • Assist in the review, organization, and modernization of the policy library, including content structure, accessibility, and alignment to business needs
  • Participate in projects focused on process improvement, standardization, and operational excellence

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Management, Quality Sciences or related field or have completed their bachelor's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Internship, co-op, academic project, or research experience related to quality, manufacturing, analytics, or process improvement
  • Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams, Pareto charts, SPC, FMEA, or root cause corrective action processes
  • Experience using Power BI, SQL, Python, or other analytics tools
  • Experience working with process documentation, technical writing, or controlled documents
