Summary: Join Atwell as an Associate Project Manager in our Civil Engineering team, focusing on land development projects. This role is perfect for a motivated professional eager to expand their leadership skills while enhancing technical expertise and project management capabilities in a collaborative and entrepreneurial setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Monitor project performance, identify challenges early, and help drive solutions to support project objectives.
  • Maintain organized project documentation, schedules, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist with contract administration, scope management, and project reporting.
  • Apply civil engineering principles across various residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
  • Support the preparation and review of engineering plans, reports, and technical documents.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for site design, grading, utility layouts, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Prepare hydrology and drainage reports and coordinate permitting requirements with local agencies.
  • Represent Atwell professionally in meetings and communications with clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Support business development initiatives through proposal preparation and client follow-up activities.
  • Mentor and support junior staff through technical guidance and collaboration.
  • Coordinate with leadership on staffing needs and resource planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field required.
  • 5–8 years of experience in civil engineering or land development consulting.
  • Experience in managing private land development projects and client expectations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure in the near future.
  • Experience preparing hydrology and stormwater management reports preferred.
  • Prior experience mentoring or coordinating junior staff is a plus.
Pay Range
$93,000—$130,000 USD
