Overview
The Resort Front Desk Associate plays a key role in shaping the guest experience from arrival to departure. This position serves as a primary point of contact for visitors, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, coordinating room assignments, processing payments, and responding to guest needs. The ideal candidate is service-focused, organized, and committed to creating a welcoming and memorable stay for every guest.
Responsibilities
Primary duties of this position include:
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide courteous, professional assistance throughout their stay
  • Complete guest check-in procedures, assign rooms, and coordinate accommodations for special requests whenever possible
  • Maintain proper inventory and control of guest room keys in accordance with company procedures
  • Handle guest departures by finalizing accounts and completing check-out transactions
  • Communicate guest requests to appropriate departments by submitting housekeeping or maintenance service requests
  • Address guest concerns promptly and work to resolve issues in a positive and professional manner
  • Accurately process payments, including cash and credit card transactions
  • Follow up with guests during their stay to ensure satisfaction and address any needs
  • Review registration details in the system to confirm accuracy of guest information, payment methods, and booking details
  • Support other front office operations during high-volume periods or when additional assistance is needed
  • Provide helpful information regarding resort amenities, property events, nearby attractions, and local directions
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
