Job Description

Applications are being accepted for multiple tenure-track faculty at the Assistant/Associate or full Professor level scientists focused on tumor immunology, including the tumor microenvironment, the role of the microbiome, and strategies to overcome tumor immunosuppression and topics relevant to cancer biology and experimental therapeutics to expand and complement the current strengths of the department.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or M.D. degree with impressive postdoctoral research accomplishments, required
  • Minimum 3-4 years research experience in tumor immunology, including the tumor microenvironment, the role of the microbiome, and strategies to overcome tumor immunosuppression and topics relevant to cancer biology and experimental therapeutics.,required
  • Three or more high-quality publications, required
  • Ability to collaborate with one or more existing faculty members in the department, required
  • Ability to lead a laboratory team and work in a collegial manner with departmental personnel, required
  • Applicants at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor are required to have significant grant funding from NIH or other national agencies
  • Strong potential to compete for additional extramural funding, required
