Job description

Senior Manager, Product Management- Associate Experience

Product Management at Capital One is a booming, vibrant craft that requires reimagining the status quo, finding value creation opportunities, and driving innovative and sustainable customer experiences through technology. We believe our portfolio of businesses and investments in growth and transformation will result in a company with the scale, brand, capabilities, talent, and values to succeed as the digital revolution transforms our society and our industry.

About the Team
The Associate Experience Endpoints team sits at the intersection of security, user experience, and platform engineering, building the technology foundation that enables 70,000+ Capital One associates to do their best work every day. We own the complete associate device and software experience: the laptops, phones, and tablets our teams use, plus the authentication, security, and software discovery platforms that run on them. Our mission is simple but critical: ruthlessly reduce friction in the associate technology experience while maintaining world-class security.

We're building product-led solutions that balance security with productivity: zero-trust authentication that doesn't interrupt workflow, enterprise software discovery that anticipates associate needs before they ask, and mobile device strategies that respect both corporate security and personal use. This isn't about writing JIRA tickets for incremental UI tweaks-it's about building platforms, negotiating with vendors, influencing cybersecurity policy, and fundamentally reimagining how 70,000 people interact with technology at work.
We're standing up a new team from scratch, which means you'll have extraordinary autonomy to define problems, build roadmaps, and drive measurable impact. You'll work directly with cybersecurity leadership, engineering directors, legal, compliance, and executive stakeholders who are hungry for product thinking in a space that's never had it. If you're energized by ambiguous, complex problems; if you believe internal platforms deserve the same rigor as customer-facing products; if you want to prove that security and great user experience aren't mutually exclusive-this is your team. We value platform thinkers over feature factories, people who can say no with data over order-takers, and PMs who see reducing 10 minutes of daily friction for 70,000 associates as 12,000 hours returned to the business every single day.

Capital One Product Framework

In this role, you'll be expected to demonstrate proficiency in five key areas which we consider to be the foundation for successful Product management:

  • Human Centered - Obsesses about internal and external customer needs to reimagine and innovate product solutions

  • Business Focused - Delivers game-changing outcomes by focusing on leverage and execution excellence

  • Technology Driven - Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value

  • Integrated Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks

  • Transformational Leadership - Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:

    • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

    • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
