Job description

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Product Manager - Enclosed Control to join our team. This is a hybrid position (3 days on-site, 2 days remote per week) based at our Menomonee Falls, WI location.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.

What you'll do:
Eaton Corporation's Industrial Controls Division (ICD) has an immediate opening for an Associate Product Manager, Enclosed Control located in Menomonee Falls, WI.
Execute and help create a strategy for growing the enclosed control product line. Work closely with the Divisional Sales Manager, and Customer Experience Manager to grow revenue and help achieve ICD Profit Plan goals. Establish, grow and maintain cooperative commercial relationships with current and potential customers. Expand the department knowledge of customers businesses, market segments and organizations. Report significant activities of competitive manufacturers. Maintain financial forecasts. Develop marketing collateral and conduct training sessions for customers and field sales to promote the technical and manufacturing capabilities of the Enclosed Control product line. Recommend and implement changes in procedures, policies, and methods that increase level of Customer Service and reduce costs.
This position will be in the divisional headquarters (Menomonee Falls, WI). Our Menomonee Falls location (MOTC) houses engineering for multiple product lines as well as marketing, sales, finance, and R&D. The facility was built in 2012 and boasts an open office layout surrounded by large windows, as well as 50,000+ square feet of onsite state-of-the-art laboratory space, fitness center, a basketball court, ping-pong, employee lounge, and grill and patio. With eight Eaton facilities and more than 1600 employees located in Southeastern Wisconsin, Eaton's local footprint enables our employees with state-of-the-art laboratories and access to manufacturing, all while providing ample opportunities for development and career growth within region.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Serve as the divisional subject matter expert in commercial construction markets for low voltage enclosed control
• Develop and manage product line strategic plan and the product line roadmap
• Achieve profit plan financials for orders, sales and margin and provide monthly forecasts
• Develop and maintain technical manuals, commercial literature and sales tools
• Provide direction to a global team of development engineers for product line support and maintenance
• Be the marketing lead for New Product Development programs and key customer conversions
- Drive the development of e-Tools and BidManager specific to product line initiatives
- Work closely with the Division and Regional Sales Managers to grow revenue and achieve ICD Profit Plan
- Establish, grow and maintain cooperative commercial relationships with present and potential customers
- Expand the department knowledge of customers businesses, market segments and competitors
- Exhibit sound presentation skills in conducting training sessions for customers and field sales to promote the technical and manufacturing capabilities of the Enclosed Control product line
- Recommend and implement changes in procedures, policies, and methods that increase level of Customer Service and/or reduce costs
Qualifications:
Basic Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in technical or marketing discipline from an accredited institution or minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, marketing and/or engineering.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• No relocation is offered for this role. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the specified job location(s) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the motor control or industrial automation industry.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring schematics and specifications.
