Associate Product ManagerHultafors Group North America, Inc. Mequon, Wisconsin, United States About this position

Hultafors Group North America is seeking an Associate Product Manager to help drive the development, launch, and lifecycle management of professional-grade industrial tools and equipment used by trade professionals and industrial end users.

This role provides an opportunity for an early-career professional to take ownership of defined product initiatives while working closely with experienced product leaders in a global business environment. The Associate Product Manager will contribute to market analysis, new product introductions, portfolio management, and cross-functional projects that support business growth and customer success.

This role focuses on physical products, including hand tools, work gear, safety products, and related industrial equipment used by trade professionals and industrial customers.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute to the development and execution of product plans, roadmaps, and portfolio initiatives.
  • Lead portions of product development and product launch activities under the guidance of senior product managers.
  • Conduct market, competitive, customer, and channel research to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop product requirements, specifications, business cases, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering, marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain teams.
  • Participate in global product initiatives and collaborate with international colleagues to support regional and global product strategies.
  • Support the successful launch of new products through training, sales enablement, customer presentations, and commercialization activities.
  • Analyze product performance, market trends, and customer feedback and recommend actions to improve results.
  • Maintain product documentation, competitive intelligence, and market insights for assigned product categories.
Requirements

Key Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in product management, marketing, engineering, sales, market research, or a related business function.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Candidates should reside within the Metro Milwaukee area or be prepared to relocate before their start date.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Hultafors Group North America is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.

Preferred

  • Experience or interest in industrial products, professional tools, construction, safety, utility, manufacturing, or other trade-oriented markets. This position is not an IT, software, SaaS, or digital product management role.
  • Understanding of the needs of trade professionals, contractors, industrial users, or distribution channels is a plus.
  • Experience working with physical products is preferred; software-only product experience is not required.
  • Experience conducting market or competitive research.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and product development processes.
  • Interest in building a career in product management.
