POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Process Engineer will provide manufacturing support on our plastic injection molding process. The Senior Process Engineer will be responsible for product launch support, continuous improvement projects and large capital projects to improve plant efficiency.

JOB DUTIES

  • Be process matter expert in injection molding process supporting and guiding the molding role process engineers
  • Work with project launch team support the launch of new product lines in the plant via design reviews and initial process setup
  • Support vendor build events a provide proper feedback to ensure success run at Job 1
  • Able to generate new CI project ideas and generate cost benefit analysis to evaluate project viability
  • Manage vendors to ensure proper install of equipment. Validate this install that comply with safety, quality and throughput standards
  • Perform root cause analysis on causes of quality defects and increased cycle time in injection molding process
  • Develop and implement permanent corrective actions on processes as indicated by the root cause analysis
  • Coordinate cross functional team meetings to develop best solution to support all departments

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor of Science of relevant technical Associates Degree

Experiences

  • 3-5 years in manufacturing setting
  • Preferred to have experience in high speed injection molding
  • Preferred to have master molding certificate
