DMA Engineering - Associate Principle Engineer (eMEP)

DMA Engineering is looking for a driven and proactive Associate Principal Engineer to join our team. Role Description

This is a full-time Associate Principal Engineer (eMEP), requiring regular access to the Arvada, Colorado area. This role leads the production side of the company and is ideal for an engineer who wants to take ownership and make a real impact.

  • Manage multiple projects at various stages of the project life cycle
  • Develop and improve standard operating procedures
  • Oversee resources, timelines, budgets, and client requests
  • Perform engineering work from energy modeling and design to writing commissioning plans
  • Handle engineering projects from start to finish while knowing when and how to delegate tasks to team members or subcontractors
  • Build strong client relationships and maintain high standards of project management and delivery

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing in at least one state
  • Five years of direct industry experience in mechanical engineering design, including work in HVAC design
  • Two years of experience as a project engineer
  • One year of experience managing junior personnel
