About This Role
This position is for an established Sr Assoc. Materials Planning professional who participates in the supply and demand planning process, and is responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems and improve effectiveness of work area. May work with internal team to develop financial forecasts.
Job Description
  • Plan, order and expedite material to support production schedules
  • Use MRP and/or visual management tools to ensure continuous supply of material
  • Issue timely releases to suppliers and confirm supplier acknowledgment of releases
  • Communicate and mitigate any material shortages
  • Manage planning parameters to minimize excess & obsolete exposure
  • Lead change thru participation in improvement activities

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 + years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or logistics

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Communicate and interact with international vendors
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to cohesively work with various departments and outside vendors
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $64,500.00 - $129,500.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
