Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Creates work planning and work process drawings, catalogs, flow charts, and other data relative to aircraft modifications, removal, replacement and reinstallation actions; part fabrication; layouts, templates, etc., for structural and electrical repairs.
Must possess computer- related skills associated with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Project.
Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
Must work in harmony with other employees.
Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be capable of preparing aircraft modification/alteration/repair presentations.
Maintains active calendar schedules and meeting makers as required
Uploads required Contract Data Requirements List(CDRLโ€™s)
Deals with the customer in courteous, professional and effective manner
Complies with and monitors all established general and industrial safety rules and regulations as applicable to the contract, facility and job assignment
Assists as directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of government/company owned equipment
Assist artisans with Technical Directive planner questions and updates
Maintains cleanliness of workstation
Performs other related Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
Must have minimum of a high school diploma. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, and Project. Must be able to: use pivot tables to sort and calculate data averages to enhance and make data entry and analysis more efficient; use formula functions and linking data between spreadsheets, utilize V-Lookup, to name a few. Must be able to utilize project management, advanced analytics, web access and reporting functions within Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with aircraft structural and electrical systems, tools, drawings, schematics and aviation/industrial safety requirements is a plus.
Must be able to meet any Government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain the level of security clearance required by the Government.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have a valid state driverโ€™s license.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Physical Demands:
This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with these activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 30 pounds. Special vision abilities to perform this job are close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment:
The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May work around moving mechanical parts.
