As our new Associate Production Planner, you will be translating customer demand into executable production schedules, managing production orders in SAP, and collaborating across Production, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to drive on-time delivery and operational efficiency. This position reports directly to our Supply Chain Supervisor and is based in Brookshire, Texas, operating on-site daily.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa.
The salary range for this position is $58,300USD - 83,000USD. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Brookshire, Texas.
What you will be doing
As a key part of the Supply Chain Planning team, you'll create impact by Driving schedule adherence, inventory optimization, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations to ensure we deliver on our promises to customers worldwide..
Your main responsibilities include:
  • Create, maintain, and optimize production schedules in SAP based on customer demand, material availability, and capacity constraints - adjusting plans daily to address shifting priorities
  • Monitor material availability, perform gap analyses to identify shortages and supply risks, and coordinate with Purchasing and Logistics to resolve constraints before they impact delivery
  • Analyze capacity utilization across production lines and work centers, identify bottlenecks, and develop recovery plans to minimize schedule disruptions
  • Manage the full production order lifecycle - creating, releasing, tracking, and closing orders while ensuring manufacturing priorities are clearly communicated to production teams
  • Maintain accurate SAP planning parameters including routings, production versions, lot sizes, and lead times to ensure system integrity and planning reliability
  • Participate in daily production and shortage review meetings, communicate schedule risks to stakeholders, and support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning performance

  • 2-5 years of experience in production planning,

It is a plus if you also:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with exposure to Lean or Operational Excellence methodologies
  • Familiarity with capacity planning, KPI development, and continuous improvement frameworks
