Griffon Aerospace, a leader in the exciting Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) and composites industry, is seeking a Junior Production Planner / Scheduler to support production management for ongoing UAV projects. The growing Madison, AL-based small business is seeking innovative individuals who want to join an up tempo, maker culture that proudly provides products and services to support the American Warfighter!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Planner / Scheduler has primary responsibility for releasing and distributing production orders, maintaining schedule status, and supporting production and engineering with manufacturing bill of material status. The Production Planner / Scheduler will work daily with production, engineering, procurement, and suppliers to ensure and communicate smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working with an MRP system.
  • Experience with inventory management and control of products and records.
  • Experience with configuration management system.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to follow through and a high level of customer service skill.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt and implement change.
  • Experience and comprehension of personal computer applications such as Microsoft Excel/Word.
  • 2 years of planning/scheduling experience preferred.

EDUCATION

  • Associate degree or higher required. Experience in lieu of education considered.
