The Impact You Will Have

As a Medicaid Market Partner, you are the frontline market presence for the Medicaid P&L, serving as a trusted, in‑person relationship owner with counties and fostering collaborative partnerships. You share market experience and data insights to inform planning and decision‑making. Your work drives measurable P&L contribution by leveraging county insights to strengthen consistency, accountability, and standardized expectations across plans. By identifying emerging needs and market trends, you bring critical market intelligence back into the business, translating insights into actionable strategies for the Medicaid leadership.

What You’ll Do
  • Serves as the primary liaison for health and human services within counties, ensuring trust‑based relationships and consistent engagement.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with county stakeholders and leverage data‑driven insights to identify needs and inform population health priorities.
  • Develops and implements account action plans to drive account performance across county and business priorities.
  • Monitors financial and operational performance of county and community partners and makes tactical decisions supporting overall P&L strategy.
How You’ll Do It
  • Ensuring contract lifecycle readiness and supporting successful RFPs, renewals, and rate negotiations through cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Representing the Medicaid P&L on cross‑functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals.
  • Performs additional responsibilities consistent with the scope and level of the role, as assigned.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 7+ years of related Medicaid professional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree; in lieu of a degree, an additional two years of relevant experience beyond the qualifications listed above may be accepted.
  • Ability to travel within Minnesota (up to 50%) to support in‑person meetings.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Master's degree in related field.
  • Knowledge of government healthcare programs, regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of health plan operations, products, and business practices.
  • Experience improving processes, workflows, or operational performance.
  • Ability to translate complex information into actionable messaging, actively listen to diverse perspectives, and drive alignment across cross‑functional priorities.
  • Ability to analyze complex challenges, evaluate tradeoffs, and collaborate with stakeholders to reach effective, lasting solutions.
  • Ability to effectively organize work, balance shifting priorities, and manage time across multiple workstreams to meet commitments.

Our hybrid approach is designed to balance flexibility with meaningful in‑person connection and collaboration. We come together in the office two days each week – most teams designate at least one anchor day to ensure team interaction. These in‑person moments foster relationships, creativity, and alignment. The rest of the week you are empowered to work remote.

Compensation And Benefits

Pay Range: $117,800.00 – $159,000.00 – $200,200.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
